Back to League action as Threave visit Ainslie Park

It’s back to Ferrari Packaging Lowland League action for Spartans as they welcome Threave Rovers to Ainslie Park on Saturday (3pm).

With a plethora of cup games since their last league outing against Edinburgh City on October 10th, Manager Dougie Samuel will be keen to return with a win to keep the pressure on their capital rivals at the top of the table.

It’s the first clash between the two sides this season so far due to the corresponding fixture falling foul to the inclement conditions and both camps will be keen to bag the bragging rights and 3 points come 4.45pm.

The visitors, currently sitting adrift from the rest of the pile at the wrong end of the roster, head into the fixture boosted by a South Challenge Cup victory last weekend and Samuel’s side will be on guard to prevent the Castle Douglas outfit securing their second win of the campaign.

Kick-off is 3pm.  Admission £5 Adults, £3 Concessions.  Under 16s  Free.
