East of Scotland: Tomassi’s team face tough trip to face ShipColin Tomassi’s East of Scotland side head across the Forth as they look to put last week’s disappointment against Ormiston to one side by getting back to winning ways against Burntisland Shipyard. Both teams have been on the wrong side of the scoreline in recent games and will be equally keen to get their Central Taxis East of Scotland season back on track. The Spartans gaffer said, “The squad is really disappointed with last week’s result and how we let an early two goal lead slip. Ormiston deserved the win and at times we struggled as a team to defend against their direct play, especially allowed crosses into the box and not defending them. “However, the response on the training pitch this week has been what I’d expect from a determined and proud squad. Shippy will once again offer us an exceptionally tough opposition and we’ll need to bring our ‘A’ game to the table if we are to take full points.” Tomassi’s selection rollercoaster continues with Ross Gilpin, Ewan Sanderson and Keith Boyes all unavailable however the gaffer is boosted by Mark Gair, John Grant and Kai Wilson all being added to the squad. Kick-off at Recreation Park is 2.30pm
