Scottish Cup is child’s play as local schools get trophy visit

Posted on Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015

500 local children got their hands on the William Hill Scottish Cup today.

As the trophy kicks off a busy week touring around a number of clubs still in the competition, kids from Craigroyston, Pirniehall, St. David’s RC, Granton, Ferryhill and Forthview Primary Schools as well as Ferryhill and Forthview Homework clubs got their hands on the oldest domestic trophy in the world as the Cup made a visit to Spartans.

Along with getting to see the Scottish Cup, all of the kids were given a free ticket to the game against Berwick Rangers on Saturday and even got to learn some of the Spartans songs.

We hope to see them all at Ainslie Park this weekend where they can Be The 12th Man!
