Souters Set to Grace Ainslie ParkTonight Selkirk are the next team to grace the Ainslie Park pitch as the Border side visit in Scottish Sun Lowland League action.Once again we face a tough task as the Souters have been in superb form, already doubling their total points tally of the whole of last season in just 6 games. Steve Forrest and his coaching team have worked hard to bring in a number of exciting players over the summer, including former Scotland cap Garry O’Connor. The former Hibs striker has been in goal scoring form himself and will return to the Selkirk squad after missing the weekend’s defeat to BSC Glasgow following his sending off against Edinburgh City last midweek. On the home front, Spartans are without Kevin Motion who is suspended following his red card at the weekend, while Donal Henretty is unavailable. Long term injuries to Michael Herd, Iain Thomson and Robbie Ross continue to see those three out while a couple of players are still carrying knocks as they try and get back to full fitness. On a positive note, Keith McLeod and John Grant are both available again and return to the squad for tonight. Kick off tonight is at 7.45pm, entry is £5/£3 and all under 15s are free. |
