Stevenson First Signing of the Summer

The Club is delighted to announce our 1st signing of the summer as Craig ‘Grinchy’ Stevenson makes the move from Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale. Just last week Grinchy was awarded the East of Scotland Player of the Year Award on the back of a standout season for the Premier Division Champions, Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale. Grinchy is equally comfortable at right or left back and can also play in the middle of the park.

“Grinchy is a young player with great potential, at 22 years of age his best years are in front of him. He is someone we have been tracking for 2 years. With increased demands on us next season, it’s important that we strengthen our squad and increase competition for places, in all areas of the team. It’s common knowledge that a large number of Lowland League and Junior Super League Cubs had approached and wanted to sign Craig, so I’m absolutely delighted that he has chosen to come on board and join the Spartans family. I’d like to thank Kevin Twaddle and Raymond Carr at LTHV for being so helpful in our negotiations with them”.
