Cloudy Looks to KO EK With Goal-den Strike

Posted on Friday, February 7th, 2014

Spartans welcome East Kilbride to the Academy for the first time ever as Dougie Samuel’s men get back to League action for the first time since the 7th December.

After an idle week due to the inclement weather in Castle Douglas,  Spartans look to extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Sun sponsored Lowland League with a win against Iain King’s side.

In the previous encounter between the teams this season, ‘Kilby’ edged out Spartans with a late goal by McLaughlin earning his side the spoils in a frustrating game at K Park.

Kilby endured the mud-bath of Whitehill last week, watched by one of the largest travelling Spartans contingent of the season! East Kilbride were off-beat, a Bronksy late goal scant consolation in a 4-1 defeat at Rosewell.

With no Robbie Ross & Jack Beacher, Spartans look to draw from their strong squad that has them still involved in three cup competitions & at sitting top of the league ladder.

History of course could be made come 4.45pm as Keith McLeod looks to claim the British consecutive goalscoring record.

Can Cloudy make it 15 in a row? Be part of it!

The game kicks-off at 3pm. Adults £5, Concessions £3, Under 15’s FREE!
