Chris Anderson’s Battle Against Cancer

Posted on Friday, October 18th, 2013

Today’s Herald newspaper contains a story about Spartans Striker Chris Anderson and his battle against testicular cancer.

We are delighted to confirm that Chris has been given the all clear after eight months of fighting against the disease.

The story talks about how a conversation with fellow Spartan and Doctor, Jonny Seeley prompted Chris to seek medical help.

Chris is keen to relay to everyone, about checking for the signs of cancer. “My advice would be, don’t be embarrassed about it. If you notice a lump, it probably won’t just go away. Get checked out immediately.”
