Friday night football returns to Ainslie Park tonight as the Spartans East of Scotland Side host a Premier Division game against Coldstream. Spartans and Coldstream met earlier this season in the league cup and Coldstream ran out winners 3-2 in a tight game at Coldstream

Manager Alex Cunningham is looking forward for a chance to try and get revenge.
“The East of Scotland Premier League is certainly different to the Juniors and perhaps we have taken slightly longer to adjust than we first expected. The management team are also in a learning phase as we have not seen many of our opponents play previously, however that is not the case tonight as we take on Coldstream in a league fixture. We played Coldstream in the league cup down at Home Park in our second game of the season losing 3-2, so we know a bit about how they will shape up and play. More importantly if the players can take all the effort and knowledge from the training field into the tonight’s game then we should be more than capable of matching Coldstream.”

Tonight’s match kicks off at 7.45pm. Entry is £5/£3 and free for all under 12s. Season tickets are valid for this game. A small match programme will also be available at the gate.
