The Juniors recorded an excellent 1 – 0 win over Haddington at Ainslie Park. Jordan Finnie scored the only goal from the spot before he saw red with ten minutes to go for his second yellow card.
The Amateurs had a great 3 – 3 draw with league leaders Edinburgh Rose. Our goals came from Dave Campbell (2) and Robbie Laird. We had Geoff Aberdein sent off for a hand ball on the line after only 30 minutes with Rose only equalising with 3 minutes to go.
A red card for each of our teams today, surely a Spartans first.
