Another exciting game with the Students

The 21’s completely dominated Heriot Watt Uni in the first half this afternoon. Nick put us ahead in 15 mins with a great run and finish from 22 yards. Danny made it two after some nice passing and a brilliant cross from Scott Wilson. However, the students came out for the second half with a better attitude and pulled one back on the hour mark with a deflected shot which looped into the goal. A contentious couple of decisions resulted in a penalty to the University and suddenly they were on level terms. Worse was to come for Spartans when the students took the lead in 85 minutes after poor defending. Spartans scrambled an equaliser through Brad with the last kick of the match, in the 97th minute!! Danny Currie was very unlucky to be sent off late on after what looked like a misunderstanding of his intentions. Final Score 3-3
