Happy New Year and our first games of 2013

A happy new year from everyone at Spartans to all our website readers and followers on twitter.

Our Seniors don’t play until next Tuesday (8th) when Hibs U20 are our visitors with a 7.45 pm ko. We are back training on Thursday as we look forward to a exciting set of fixtures during January and February. Our Juniors travel to West Calder on league business this Saturday (5th) with a 1.45pm ko.

Our strong u17 team take on Hutchison Vale in a crucial league game on Saturday at the Academy with a 2pm ko. Then on Sunday our 19s play Selkirk on the stadium pitch in a league game with a 1pm ko.

Meanwhile Leith Athletic our temporary guests have a couple of games arranged at the Academy with their pitch at Muirhouse still suffering from the wet weather. Firstly they play Edinburgh City in a friendly tomorrow (2nd) with a 7pm ko and then they play Burntisland Shipyard in a league game on Saturday with a 3pm ko.
