Defeat to the Young Hibees

We went down 3 – 1 to Hibs U19s tonight. Five of Saturday’s Senior starting xi were selected and we were well on top with Omar Kader opening the scoring after 11 minutes with a deflected effort. We were playing well and Jordan Finnie was unlucky when his chip hit the post and bounced clear. Danny Handling equalised right in half time when we failed to clear a corner. Hibs played very well in the second half and local lad Dean Horribine scored a quick brace midway through the half to give them a deserved victory. It was a good run out for our squad. New Hibs manager Pat Fenlon was there and was very pleased with his youngsters.
