The Bully Wee visit the Academy this Saturday

After it was decided Partick Thistle should head North rather than East this Saturday the Seniors have arranged a game against Clyde at the Academy with a 2.00 Kick Off.

Co-manager Mike Lawson says “When we found out we were no longer in the Scottish Cup this weekend we contacted several SFL clubs who’d lost in the Second Round looking for a fixture. Jimmy Murray approached Clyde, passed me Jimmy Duffy’s number and after talking to Jim last night we agreed to play at the Academy on Saturday. Don’t get me wrong we’d all rather be playing Partick in the Scottish but at least we are going to get to pit our skills against another SFL side. We’ve played Airdrie and Forfar in recent weeks and we are delighted to now be facing Jim Duffy’s men.  It’s a great learning experience especially for our younger players and hopefully the game will help cheer up the players, management and supporters.”
