In the friendly at Bonnyrigg Rose we comfortably won 3 0 with two goals from Gavin Malin (1 pen) and Omar Kader. Gavin’s 25 yard strike put us ahead at half time and we continued to dominate possession in the second half. We played better today and looked stronger in defence than we have been Team: Flockhart, O Donnell, Hoskins, Sivewright, McKinnon, Malin, Dodds (Finnie), Henretty, McLeod, Kader, Manson Subs not used Bannon, R Smith, Seeley, Fusco
The Juniors came tumbling down to earth with a 6 1 defeat against a very good Haddington Athletic team. Haddington were two ahead in the first 30 minutes before a Ross Eliott penalty pulled on back. The first twenty minutes of the second half were pretty even before the roof fell in. When their third went in we pushed forward and Haddington picked us off at ease.
The Amatuers went out the Scottish Cup 5 – 2 to Tollcross Thistle. James Anderson scored our two goals. We had plenty chances in the first half but didn’t take them and were 3 2 down at he break. Tollcross went on to win the second half with ease.
