In the closed door game tonight away to Airdrie we drew 4 – 4 in an exciting match played in driving wind and rain. Both teams used the night to give their full squad a run.
We scored first when Gavin Malin drove home a Gary Bannon cross. Airdrie went ahead with two goals in a minute but just before the break Chris Smith scored with a great finish from a Chris Anderson cut back. We went ahead ten minutes into the second half when Omar Kader scored a fine effort from the edge of the box and then Keith McLeod added a fourth with a header from a Danny O’Donnell cross. Airdrie pulled back level with goals in the 75th and 80th minutes.
Team: Flockhart (McTurk), Fusco, Hoskins, Sivewright, Seeley (O’Donnell), Manson (Dodds), Malin, Anderson (McLeod), C Smith (Kader), Bannon (Finnie), R Smith (Henretty)
