Seniors new signing

The Seniors are delighted to announce the signing of striker Chris Anderson from Gala Fairydean. Chris is 23 and has previously played at Dunfermline and Berwick Rangers as well as a spell in the English Conference South. With Keith Mcleod missing the start of the season due to his hernia operation Chris is a welcome addition to the squad. Co-manager Mike Lawson is delighted “we played Gala three times this season and Chris stood out in all three games. He’s a clever player and we’ll be looking for him to get amongst the goals next season”. Chris is a full time football coach with the SFA in the Borders and he is also be the Head Coach of our EoS 19s team. With most of the squad having already re-signed for next season and the others in discussion we’re optimistic we’ll be up there challenging again.
Also returning to the club from Gala are Keith Boyes and Paul Sutherland who both join Alec Cunningham’s Junior squad. Keith will also be Chris’ assistant at 19s having spent two years coaching with our excellent under 15 squad.
