Two Sunday defeats

The Womens team went down 5 – 1 to Glasgow City with a disappointing performance through in Glasgow. We now need to lift ourselves before the League Cup final at Alloa on Wednesday.
Our 19s went down 4 – 2 to Edinburgh City aet in the final of the Jimmy Lynch Memorial Cup. We went ahead early in the first half with a Davy Stewart strike but City pulled one back just on the half time whistle. City then went ahead midway through the half against the run of play and we had James Hymers sent off for diving in one of the strangest decisions seen at Ainslie Park all season. We battled well and another Davy Stewart goal put the game int extra time. Jordan Finnie hit the underside of the cross bar in the 103rd minute but when City scored early in the second period there was only going to one winner.
