Legends win opener

The Spartans Old Boys started their Summer friendly campaign with a 3 – 2 win over an experienced and much younger Newcraighall Vics.  Vics took the lead after twenty minutes but skipper Phil Hobbins hooked home an equaliser just before the break.  Vics had most of the play in the seond half but with twenty minutes to go we scored a quick fire double.  Brian Hutton slotting home a Keith Jardine cross and then Phil notched his second from close range.  Vics pulled one back in the final minute Team: Graham, Mckeating, Rae, McDonald (Lumsden), Robertson, Jardine, Samuel, Mitchell (Hutton), Lawson, Ford (Mclaren), Hobbins
