Saturday action

The Seniors take on Edinburgh University tomorrow at the Academy with a 2.30pm ko. Despite the rain in the last 24 hours the pitch was playable at 7pm tonight so it’s looking good for action. David Etale is still out with a thigh knock and Danny O’Donnell misses tomorrow as he is at Ross Hutch’s wedding. Dean Hoskins’ red card from last Saturday only applies to Scottish Cup action and back into the squad after 18 months out through injury is Scott Livingston. Scott has been back in training for six weeks and be make an appearance on the bench. The Uni pushed us all the way a couple of weeks ago in the cup game so it should be another cracking game tomorrow.

Also in action at the Academy are the Saturday who take on North Merchiston in the first round of the East of Scotland Cup. Their ko is 3pm on the FieldTurf, before them at 1pm our top team at 17s take on Giffnock in the Scottish Cup…bear with us in the cafe/bar at half time in the Seniors game as we will also be providing hospitality for our guests from Giffnock.
