Amateurs action, Girls 13s in Scottish Cup and cup draws

The Amateurs head through to play Penicuik Utd tomorrow for a 3rd round Challenge Cup game with a 2pm ko. It’s a strong squad with veteran Kenny Skivington holding together the many youngsters. Ross Hutchison misses out as he’s departed to Lisbon for his stag weekend. The squad is Williams, Cran, McNally, Szymoszowskyj, Brown, Clelland, Aberdein, Ben Gharbia, Malin, Convert, Skivington, Grandison, Clark, Velicko, Cartwright, Webb.

The Girls Under 13 play their Scottish Cup quarter final against East End from Aberdeen tomorrow on the FieldTurf at the Academy, it a 12.30ko. The girls are looking for a big support to counter the bus load travelling down from Aberdeen.

Finally a couple of big cup draws…firstly the Seniors play Edinburgh University in Round 3 of the Image Printers Cup on Saturday 9th October, another tough cup game. The Juniors have drawn top side Linlithgow Rose in the second round of their East of Scotland Cup, the date for this tie has yet to be announced.
