Juniors and Amateurs look ahead to tomorrow

The Juniors head to Livingston Utd for their second league game of the season tomorrow.  As manager David Cowan says in tonight’s Evening News it will be a tough league “we want to be in the mix again but it won’t be easy as Tranent, Fauldhouse and a number of other teams have also stengthened their squads”.  James Hair continues his return to fitness with an outing for the Amateur team and Ross Mckenzie returns after holiday to give us almost a full squad to choose from.  The game kicks off at 2pm.  Thanks also to Joe Reed who has started a new Spartans blog on our Junior team, you can pick it up at http://spartansofedinburgh.blogspot.com/  , he makes some great points!

The Amatuers have a 2nd round Logan Cup game tomorrow away to Ratho Athletic.  The first round of the big cup draws have also been made, in the Scottish Cup we play Fernieside at home, in the East of Scotland Cup we play North Merchiston Vale also at home.
