Another new Signing

Spartans SAFC is delighted to announce the capture of highly rated defender Paul McCathie.

Paul has played at a higher level and is looking for a season of regular football in order to regain his fitness.

“I was at Hearts full time after a spell at Falkirk under John Hughes. We got to the final of the Milk Cup, losing to Racing Club from Argentina. One of my team mates was David Gray, now of Manchester United.

The aim is to get back into full time football but my fitness needs attention. A lot of people within the game keep saying I should be playing full time but I need games under my belt.”
