Midweek Draw at City Park
Posted on Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

Spartans managed a draw tonight against St. Vincents despite a horrific 1st half performance.
Spartans will be happier with the point after what Kenny Cameron described as “the worst first half I’ve ever seen.”
Poor defending cost us 2 goals, however Mal Leask was on hand to score 2 goals to give Spartans a share of the spoils, which secures 4th position in the league after 2 matches.
Spartans will have to play much better in the future however should take heart from a spirited, much improved 2nd half.
Kenny Cameron said post match “Thats 2 games, 2 not so great performances but we are have managed to remain unbeaten and I’m sure we cant play any worse than we did in the 1st half. We got a reaction in the 2nd half and in the last 10 minutes we were trying to push for a winner. Having said that Shaun has pulled off another great save for us near the end.”
