Spartans Juniors looking for Sponsors

Monday, June 21st, 2010

Spartans Juniors are looking at new ways to raise sponsorship this season. Rather than asking one company to come up with the full cost of sponsoring the teams home kit for next season, we thought we would come up with something slightly different, and have a raffle. We are asking any local (or indeed non local) businesses who are interested to be part of the raffle at the cost of £150 per ticket, the first ticket drawn will be the shirt sponsor for next season. We have ordered new Nike home strips for next season and are only waiting confirmation of the raffle winner.

We aim to have circa 20 -30 tickets in the raffle and if anyone is interested in their company participating in our raffle then please contact Stewart Siegel or Cameron Hobbs. As a thank you for your £150, we will send you two season tickets for all Spartans games at Ainslie Park for the season 2010/11.

Our Womens team unfortunately lost 2 – 0 to Celtic yesterday in a league game.  Celtic scored two early goals and we couldnt come back.  We played much better than we had done in the League Cup final.  The Women now take a break through until early August.  Next week there are a couple of important Womens Internationals with Hayley Lauder and Pauline Hammill in the squad, Di Barty is taking a break from International football.
