Juniors seal late win

After an unispiring first 60 minutes the Juniors showed great character to beat West calder 2- 1 tonight at the Academy.  The first half was goalless as both teams struggled with the firm surface.  West calder the took the lead early in the second half and this was the wake up call we needed.  Andrew Cruickshank scrambled hom the equaliser on the hour mark and then we laid seige to the West Calder goal.  Adam Perry and Struan Preston both missed chances to equalise before a great run and cross from kenny Young was driven home by Michael Moffat.  West Calder’s discipline went in the remaining minutes with one red card and a few yellows.   It’s Sauchie up next at City Park on Wednesday night.  Team: Paterek, Cruickshank, Steele, Scott, McKibben, Moffat, Robertson (Crolla), Antoni, K Young, Reid (Preston), Perry (Boyes) Subs not used: Sutherland, G Young, Cartwright, Roberts
