Seniors Progress to Final

Spartans beat Stirling University 2-1 in the semi-final of the Scottish Challenge Cup, at Ainslie Park, to progress to the final at Tynecastle Stadium. Omar Kader put Spartans in the lead very early on before Michael Pentland scored an equaliser later in the first half. In the Second half Ross Archibald scored a rebounded shot to put the home side through. Spartans will play Gretna in the final.

Across the road at City Park, The Juniors beat Harthill 4-0 in the league. Goals from Kenny Young, Michael Moffat, Gary Bannon and Nick Reid. The East of Scotland Under 19′s drew 0-0 with Salvesen on the field turf at the Academy earlier in the day.
