Happy New Year and tomorrow’s fixtures

Happy New Year to all our website readers.

Yesterday’s snow is still sitting on the FieldTurf pitch at the Academy.  The north end of the pitch is in reasonable shape having been in the sun today but the south end of the pitch is pretty icy.  Given that no thaw is forecast we’ve postponed the Spartans Juniors vs Craigroyston and the Edinburgh City vs Vale of Leithen games due for 11am and 1pm respectively.  The Juniors and Edinburgh City will be able to train on the better half of the pitch.  

We will decide on the Seniors game against Newtongrange Star game in the morning, the ko is scheduled for 3pm.   If there is a slight thaw during the morning the pitch may be fine.

We have two Youth games scheduled for Sunday morning, kicking off at 10.30 and 12.  We will make a decision on them tomorrow.
