The Winning Spartans team

The Winning Spartans team with Billy and Val from CCLASP

A Spartans team captained by Cameron Hobbs won the first ever ‘It’s A Knockout’ event. 11 teams took part including a Former Hibernian Players team, a team from Standard Life as well as a team from the charity CCLASP who were running the event to raise money. Cameron was joined by players from the senior, junior and amateur team who worked well as a group to win by a narrow margin of 3 points.

There were many spectators to watch the teams cover themselves in tyres, jump through giant inflatable courses and pass a giant pizza over head with sticks!!

Many thanks to everyone who took part to raise money for CCLASP and a big thank you to the Academy for hosting the event.

Spartans look forward to taking part again next year as we will have to defend our newly won trophy. Many thanks to everyone who donated too as Spartans raised over £750 for the charity. For more information on CCLASP please visit www.CCLASP.net
