13s go for glory

Our 1st XI start pre-season training tomorrow morning in Inverleith park while on Sunday 21st our 1st XI at 13s play their last game of the season.   It’s not any game – it is the League championship play-off against Edina Hibs to win the overall East Region championship.  We haven’t previously won one of the top leagues, it would be a fantastic effort if we did.  Coach Keith Mackay is looking forwad to the game ”We won our league several weeks ago so its been a long wait for the final.  Edina came through against Scottish Cup winners Tynecastle so they are bang in form.  We’re looking forward to having a big Spartans support and I’m sure the boys will have a great day.”  The games kicks off at 12 noon at the Gyle Recreation Centre.
