Womens team finish with big win and Car Raffle drawn

Our Womens team ended the season in style with a 10 – 1 win over Raith Rovers. Di Barry scored four of the goals taking her tally to 40 for the season. The win gives us 2nd place in the league.

Shelley, Carson, Walt and the players have had a great season…coming a close second to Glasgow City in the League and League Cup, and also reaching the semi final of the Scottish Cup. Shelley is already looking at how she will strengthen the squad for next season, we’ve loads to look forward to.

The winner of the Ford Ka in the car raffle was Sarah McCormack from Colinton. It was one of the tickets Adam Perry/Sam Scott sold.

Second prize, the two nights at the St Andrews Bay Hotel, went to Audrey Thomson from Belford. Third prize, £350 of Harvey Nicolls vouchers went to the Shiel family from Ravelston. Finally 4th prize of two Spartans season tickets went to S Thirde from Bonyrigg.

Thanks to everyone who helped sell the tickets, we made over £4700 from the raffle.
