McDonald Grassroots Scottish Football Awards 2009

At a gala dinner at Hampden last night we were awarded the Grassroots Community Club of the Year. This is a fantastic achievement for everyone at the club. Most of Scottish football’s top brass were on show with Gordon Smith and Kenny Dalglish leading the speeches. The Sunday Mail will be giving full coverage this Sunday and we were delighted when Colin Hutchison, Les Atkinson, Michelle McNab and Stuart Lockhart picked up our trophy at the end of the evening. It’s easy to think about all the things we could be doing better but sometimes it’s better to reflect on what a fantastic job we do for our Community and all our players. Thanks to everyone for their commitment over the last few years - the trophy belongs to to you all.
