Scotland lose to Russia in Euro Championship Play Off

Scotland, captained by Spartans player/coach Shelley Kerr, lost 3 – 2 at Tynecastle today in the first leg of their Euro Championship play-off.  Shelley came very close to an equaliser in th 87th minute but their ‘keeper made a great leaping save.  Spartans ‘keeper Jo Hutchison was on the bench for Scotland with Diana Barry also in the squad.
