A wet day out in Annan with no football but 2s progress in Scottish Cup

Thanks to everyone who made the effort to go to Annan this afternoon and to the Annan groundstaff who tried everything to get the game on.  We’ll try again next week and hopefully the Spartans Army will again turn out in numbers…the Mexicans had turned into Elvis and his band…supported by about 30 youngsters from the under 13 and under 15 squads.

Peffermill was just playable with the 2s winning 7 - 0 in the Scottish Cup against Lochgelly Utd with goals from Nick Reid (4), Adam Perry (2) and Keith Boyes.  Unfortunately the 3s lost 2 – 1 to Loanhead MW in the East of Scotland Cup.
